Kings Sign Brayden Burke
Player Signs With Arizona After Being Waived
Los Angeles Signs Player To One-Year Deal
Brayden Burke has signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Los Angeles Kings, according to a source. The deal includes a $277,500 signing bonus.
Burke, 24, was acquired by the Kings in a trade with the Arizona Coyotes last month. He has played in 55 NHL games, scoring two goals and adding four assists. He was waived by the Kings on Saturday.
The Kings have a number of injuries on their blue line, so Burke could see some playing time right away. He is a physical defenseman who can also contribute offensively.
