A Qatar Airways flight QR017 experienced severe turbulence while flying over Turkey, resulting in injuries to twelve passengers, the airline confirmed in a statement.

This incident comes just five days after a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore was forced to land in Turkey due to severe turbulence. In that incident, several passengers were injured.
Dublin-Bound Flight Affected
The Qatar Airways flight QR017 was bound for Dublin, Ireland, but was forced to land in London due to the injuries sustained by the passengers. The six injured passengers and six injured crew members have been taken to local hospitals for treatment.
